BeMed launches its 5th call for micro-initiatives to support field actions against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea.
The aim of BeMed is to support innovative socially responsible solutions for a healthy Mediterranean, in cooperation with the public and private sectors, NGOs and the scientific community.
To reach this first goal, BeMed has launched its fifth call for micro-initiatives (CMI) aimed at all Mediterranean countries on 1st October 2020.
The Grant: BeMed’ s contribution for each micro-initiative is up to a maximum of 10 000 euros.
Eligible countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Montenegro, the Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, Turkey, Cyprus, Croatia, Malta and Greece
Eligible applicant organisations:
Applicant organisations need to meet the following criteria:
- To develop activities chiefly concerning awareness, nature protection, environmental lobbying, social change, research and innovation.
- To belong to one of the following categories: NGO, territorial authority, municipality, private company with fewer than 20 employees, scientific institution.
- To have a legal status enabling them to receive grants.
- To have their head office registered in the country benefiting from the grant.
